OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) Department of Continuing Education (CE) is excited to share its Fall 2022 course catalog. Learn all about the variety of programming that is open to all!
The UW Oshkosh Fox Cities, Fond du Lac and Oshkosh campuses can help you develop professional skills, earn required continuing education credits, develop personal skills, and explore educational travel.
If you want to learn a new hobby, UWO CE offers courses in chess, knitting, guitar and painting parties. There are three opportunities to take experience UWO CE programming at no cost to you: Don’t Be Fooled by Your Smart Phone, Zoom for Beginners, and the Fall Band Concert. There are also several financial planning courses as well as health and wellness programs, including a Women’s Wellness and Education Retreat on Saturday, Oct. 1, in Oshkosh.
Educational travel opportunities are available to anyone who is looking for an excursion and new adventures. There are international trips to the Alpine Countries and Southern Italy and Sicily, as well as visits within the borders of the United States to the Islands of New England, a New York City Theater Tour and a Boundary Waters Expedition, along with day trips to explore Milwaukee and Chicago. Also coming in 2024 is a tour of Morocco in 2024! Be sure to book early!
Online certification opportunities are also available to help professionals advance in their careers or gain new skills. Social media, online teaching, business writing, digital communications as well as cybersecurity and digital risk management are some of the many topics that are covered.
