Recital Resources

Programs

  • Students are responsible for formatting their own programs and creating a QR code for guests. You can download a .doc template/guide at this link, or work from a .pdf version. Programs are formatted to be one double sided half sheet.
  • Paper programs can be printed by the office for concerts or recitals at your request. The program MUST be formatted as a PDF. Translations/Notes for student recitals will not be printed; you must do so on your own.
  • Programs must have the approval of your applied instructor or faculty sponsor.
  • Submit a program to the School of MAC Office at mac@uwosh.edu a minimum of 7 working days before your recital/concert date. Please indicate how many copies (up to 50) and what color.
    Available colors:

    White Light Green
    Ivory Bright Green
    Gold Blue
    Gray Teal
    Red Light Purple
    Orange Fuchsia
    Yellow
    Bright Yellow
  • Once your program is printed, we’ll let you and your instructor know. It can then be picked up from the School of MAC office in Arts & Communication S123.

Posters

It is the performer’s responsibility to deliver a copy-ready design of your poster to UW Oshkosh Copy This!! or a duplicating facility of your choice. The Music program does not pay to have student Junior/Senior/SFM/non-degree recital posters printed. Please be sure to include the date/time/location, and “Free Admission” text.

For all other concerts: Up to 20 posters will be paid from Music funds. Faculty are to use UMC services for design if needed; send the file to mac@uwosh.edu for duplicating.

Please note: University regulations state that posters cannot be taped on bare walls. Bulletin boards within the Music areas are not for student use. However, students may hang posters on the push pin rail in stairwells or other general access bulletin boards.

Main Theatre Stage

While the Music Hall is being renovated, students may request the main Theatre space to rehearse by submitting a Request Form to Amy Ready to reserve time. Student recitalists are allowed six (6) hours of time for rehearsal.

Stage and Recording Work Orders

Completed Stage Work Orders and Recording Requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your recital.

Payment for your recording(s) must be submitted to the School of MAC office in Arts & Communication S123 within two (2) business days of the submission of your Recording Request. If payment is not received within this time, the Recording Request will not be processed, and recording will not take place. Students will be notified by their campus email address when the recording(s) is ready for pick-up.
