Titan Youth Spirit Day

All K-12 twirlers and dancers are invited to participate!

Join the Titan Thunder Marching Band and the UWO Dance Team for Titan Youth Spirit Day! 

COME PERFORM WITH US
All K-12 twirlers, dancers, and cheerleaders are invited to take part in a special on-field halftime celebration on Saturday, Sep. 7, at the Titan football game vs Wheaton.
(When available, UWO Cheer Camp information, registration, and payment will be found at this link.)

Participants will meet at Titan Stadium from 8:30 a.m. to rehearse the routine and practice putting it on the field. Please sign up by Friday, Aug. 30 to participate in this special event.

SUPERVISION
A parent/guardian/authorized adult must be present throughout the entire event (rehearsal & performance). UWO is providing instruction but not supervision for participants. An activity waiver will be completed at registration.

ROUTINES
Performance and break-down videos will be available below by mid-August. Routines will be separated by age and ability with corresponding choreography for each.

MUSIC
Ocean Avenue (Yellowcard) – Advanced twirlers
Holiday (Green Day) – Intermediate/Advanced dancers
Thnks fr th Mmrs (Fall Out Boy) – All twirl and dance participants + UWO Cheer Camp

 
WHAT TO BRING
  • $30 participation fee (exact cash/check only)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Baton (if applicable)
  • Rehearsal clothes (active top and black shorts/leggings) — Performance t-shirts will be distributed at morning practice.
 
GAME TICKETS
Participants will receive a game ticket at morning practice. Parents/guardians still need to purchase a game day ticket. (Advance prices: $12/adult; $8/senior & student; Age 5 and younger are free.)
 
 

EVENT SCHEDULE
Saturday, Sep. 7, at the Titan football game vs Wheaton.

8:30 a.m. Check-In
Meet at Titan Stadium to receive your t-shirt and name tag, submit participation fee ($30 – exact cash/check only), and complete activity waiver.

9:00-10:00 a.m. Rehearsal
Review the routines with UWO instructors, and put them on the field with the Titan Thunder Marching Band!

10:00 a.m. Free time/Lunch on your own
Parents/guardians should plan to tailgate or find lunch in the area. Consider watching the Titan Thunder Marching Band and UWO Cheer Camp as they escort the Titans along Josslyn St. in the Titan March at 11:45.
