A Fulbright Scholar and author/editor of 15 books, Dr. Honigsfeld offers staff development primarily focusing on effective differentiated strategies and collaborative practices for ESL and general education teachers.

Following the keynote address, breakout sessions during the day will feature the work of Dr. Honigsfeld and many other professionals who will share their on topics ranging from:

  •  Co-teaching planning, collaboration and assessment
  • Dual language instruction
  • Understanding the perspectives of immigrant children
  • The uses of poetry and storytelling
  • Technology in the dual language classroom
