I received my Associates Degree at Moraine Park Technical College in Accounting in 1987.
I started at Polk Library in 2006, transferring from Taycheedah Correctional Institution (TCI), Wisconsin Women's Correctional System (WWCS), where I worked in the Business Office for 5 years. I worked as a Junior Accountant at Timler & Associates, SC, CPA firm for 12 years prior to state employment.
In 2006, I participated and helped with that year's "Murder in the Stacks" Murder Mystery at the Polk Library, I help organize the annual book sale. I participated and completed the Classified Staff Leadership Series in 2008-2009. I enjoy working at Polk Library. Outside of work I have been very involved with the local community. My husband and I coached and organized the Laconia Little League and annual tournament for many years. I have been actively involved in school events as my children grew up, from assisting teachers at school, helping students that needed special attention, involved in the many sporting events, National Honor Society, being on the prom committee, organizer of the post prom committee, to being the organizer for sporting concessions.
