Joe Pirillo
I received a B.A. in History and Psychology from Southern Oregon University in 1998. I earned my Wisconsin Educator License from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2002. In 2007, also from UWM, I earned my Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. In 2014, I earned my Master’s in Education from Lakeland College.
Prior to becoming a librarian, I taught high school in Milwaukee Wisconsin. As an academic librarian I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of areas and departments. This has included working in the technical services division at the Marquette University Law Library, and most recently as a Reference and Instruction LIbrarian at Lakeland College in Sheboygan Wisconsin, where I also managed the inter-library loan program. I am an active member of the Wisconsin Association of Academic Librarians where I currently serve on the Annual Conference Committee as well as the Information Literacy Committee.
