Jessica Ammons

I received a B.A. in Education Studies from Berea College in 2009 where I also earned my Kentucky Teacher Certification for Elementary School (Primary through Grade 5).  I received my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with a specialization in School Media from Syracuse University as well as my School Library Media Certification (K-12).

I have been working in education and libraries since I was in high school.  I worked at the college circulation desk during my undergraduate studies.  While I attended Syracuse University, I worked as a graduate assistant in the Center for Digital Literacy.  After earning my degree, I worked for six years as the School Library Media Coordinator at an elementary school in Raleigh, North Carolina, where I managed the library program and taught valuable information literacy skills to students.
