Accessing our Resources

To access databases, articles, and/or eBooks from our website, students need to use their NetIDs and passwords.  A NetID is a username and password combination which allows access to University services, including registration for courses. For a video tutorial showing how to log in, click here.

Here is a step by step tutorial for logging into our website with your NetID:

1.  Locate the green 'Resources A-Z' button in the middle of the home page.  If you can't find it (possibly because you are on a mobile device) make sure that you are in the 'Find' tab of our navigational menu.

2. When you hover over the 'Resources A-Z' button, you will see a list of databases appear.  Select any database that is helpful for your research.  Academic Search Complete is a great starting point for most CAPP research.

 4. When you select a database, you will automatically be taken to the NetID login page.

5. You are now logged in, and you should have access to our full library of articles, databases, and all of our resources.  If your time researching goes a little long, you may be prompted to log in again.

Common Login Issues

I don’t remember my NetID and/or password.  Where can I find this information?

Unfortunately, we at the library don’t have the ability to reset your NetID.  If you have lost this information, you can contact our IT department at 920-424-3020. You may have to provide personal information to verify your identity.  There is a self-reset option for your password, however, this information is sent to your UWO email.

I already logged in, but it's asking me to do it again.  Is there a way to prevent this?

Unfortunately, this is just part of the way our website verifies credentials for our license agreements.  Depending on how long you are using our website and databases, you may have to login in a few times.
