When Should Children Start School?


There is a campaign in the United Kingdom to change the age at which children begin formal schooling.  David Whitebread, a University of Cambridge researcher, explains in an article why it would be best for children to start formal schooling later than they presently do.  He also explains the importance of play in the psychological development of the child.
