I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Interpreter Training Program in 2003.  After working as a Community Service Assistant / Interpreter in Green Bay, for a few years, I realized I really enjoyed the administrative support aspect of that position.  I proceeded to take classes from Inacom Information Systems in Appleton and received certification as a Medical Office Specialist.  My first job afterward was as an Office Operations Associate in Women's Medical Records at Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  I transferred from Taycheedah to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Polk Library in February of 2011.

University and Community Involvement

Over the years, I have been involved in a variety of volunteer activities.  I have been a Sunday school teacher, classroom volunteer, member of the Parent Teacher Organization, Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout adult leader, counselor at the Wisconsin Lion's Camp, tutor for the Winnebago County Literacy Council, volunteer interpreter at the Milwaukee Center for Deaf Blind Persons, personal assistant during the Great Lakes Area Deaf Blind Conference, and an administrative board member for the Hands of Christ Deaf Ministry.  I am currently involved in church activities.  I have participated in the Polk Book Sales and Murder Mysteries at Polk Library.
