I received a B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara, and I earned my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
- Professional Background
Prior to joining the Polk Library team, I worked as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, and taught an online course in Information Fluency and Academic Integrity for undergraduate students at Brandman University. I am a member of the Omega Chapter of Beta Phi Mu, the International Library & Information Studies Honor Society.
- University and Community Involvement
At UWO Libraries, I support online learners and instructors, and also provide reference assistance, library instruction and research support to on-campus students and faculty. I served as President of the Senate of Academic Staff (2021-2022), and currently serve as senate Past President.
