Inclusion + Belonging

Various Voices

Various Voices provides an opportunity for students to connect with outside experts in their respective fields and walk away feeling a new sense of belonging and empowerment to their intersecting identity.

AAA (Allyship. Advocacy. Action!) Workshop Series

Allyship, Advocacy, & Action is a professional development opportunity for students, faculty, and staff members to take advantage of and engage with social justice and equity and topics that focus on becoming better advocates to create inclusive action for underinvested communities.

“Just Checking the Box” Allyship Workshop Series

So many times our allyship is centered around “just checking the box,” but with this workshop, we will explore identities and the uncomfortable conversations that come with our privilege and power. Snacks included!

Amplify by University Speaker Series brings inspiring and diverse individuals on campus to educate and entertain the community on a variety of themes and passions.

Amplify will co-sponsor events throughout the year. If you are interested in asking for co-sponsorship, please email Maddie Wiles, Program Advisor for Inclusion Programs, at

Speaker selection is made in May for the following school year. Speaking Agencies will be contacted on how to submit information before then.

An Alternative Break is a trip where a group of 9 college students engage in volunteer service over a University break period. Each trip has a focus on a particular social issue, such as (but not limited to) education, privilege, health education and sustainability. Students learn about the social issues and then perform service projects with local non-profit organizations. Alternative Breaks challenge students to critically think and react to problems faced by members of the communities in which they are involved.

Student Organizations

There are over 150 student organizations on campus, and a number of them are focused on diversity and social justice. Visit Titan Connection for a full list.
