In honor of Veterans Day, UW Oshkosh will host members of the Vietnam Veterans of America-Chapter 351 of Appleton and their mobile museum and military resource fair.

The touring program, titled “Reflections of Vietnam,” brings a moving and educational opportunity to see artifacts related to the Vietnam War and allows veterans to present their unique stories and reflections of the experience. Visitors will come away from the program with a deeper understanding of the war that cannot be captured in textbooks or movies.

The exhibit is approximately 90 ft in length and is one of the largest collections of Vietnam War Memorabilia in the Midwest. Artifacts include weapons, military hardware and personal equipment from US, Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Forces.

We hope to see you this week!
