We are asking for your assistance in promoting the New Student Survey, which is live now through October 3rd in Navigate.
The New Student Survey asks all new first year and transfer students across all three campuses a series of questions related to academic confidence, health & wellness, belonging & community, financial stability, career & major choice and their experience transitioning to UWO. This survey is one of the most impactful retention tools we have to assess individual student needs and opportunities for real time interventions that broadly facilitate student success and improve retention. Below is a copy of one of the emails all new students will receive inviting them to complete the survey. Students can access the survey through their Navigate portal (https://uwosh.campus.eab.com) or through the Navigate app on their phone. “We have an exciting opportunity for you to share your experience so far at UW Oshkosh! As a new student, you’ve been invited to participate in the 2021 New Student Survey. We recognize the transition to a new college can be challenging, and we want to help! To better serve students and help you enjoy your experience at UW Oshkosh, we ask that you answer this survey honestly. There are no wrong answers, and it only takes 5 minutes to complete. We want you to be successful and this survey will help us identify the areas where you might need some additional support. UWO staff may reach out to you, following the survey, to provide you with campus resources if applicable. Upon completion of the survey, your name will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of several gift cards to the UWO Bookstore! If you have any questions about the survey or need further assistance in your transition, please do not hesitate to contact the UWO Division of Student Affairs by calling (920) 424-4000 or emailing uwostudentaffairs@uwosh.edu. Thank you for your help and Go Titans!” Any assistance you can provide to help encourage new first year and transfer students would be appreciated!
