Dear University community,

A reminder to join us at 9 a.m. for our for our virtual Opening Day Convocation on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

This event will look and feel a little different than it has in the past, as we are asking you to tune-in on your computer, laptop or mobile phone to a livestream of the event, rather than traveling to the Culver Family Welcome Center to attend the event in person.

The day will start at 9 a.m. with recognition of this year’s award winners. The winners have been invited to attend this portion of the ceremony in person. The presentation of awards may be viewed through the livestream so you can support your fellow faculty and staff who are being honored on this day.

After the presentation of awards, we will take a short break and begin the Convocation at 10 a.m. Again, this will be livestreamed and accessible with the same link that provides access to the awards presentation.

This will be the start of University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s 149th academic year. We hope you will be able to watch as we talk about our challenges, our successes and our hopes for the years ahead.
