Titan Thunder Marching Band – Homecoming Performance

CALLING ALL UWO MUSICIANS
Homecoming Performance Opportunity

Join the Titan Thunder Marching Band in celebration the 100th anniversary of bands at UW-Oshkosh. 

COME PERFORM WITH US
All UWO musicians–alumni, faculty, staff and current students are invited to take part in a special on-field halftime performance on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the homecoming football game vs UW-Stout.

This “Centennial Band” will meet at Titan Stadium from 9:30-10:30 a.m. to rehearse the new fight song and alma mater in a standing formation.
Please sign up by Sunday, Oct 16 to participate in this special event.

OTHER DETAILS

MUSIC
Participants can download TTMB arrangements or simplified arrangements of Go Mighty Titans and the Alma Mater. Printed copies will be provided on gameday. Simple parts/routines will be taught to percussion, color guard, and twirler participants at the 9:30 a.m. rehearsal.

INSTRUMENTS
While participants are encouraged to use their own instruments when possible, the TTMB has a limited stock of instruments available for this special performance. Available instruments include: piccolo, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, mellophone, trombone, baritone, sousaphone and marching percussion as well as color guard flags and twirling batons.

LYRES
Lyres will be provided with UWO instruments. Players of personal instruments should procure a lyre if needed by contacting their local music store or online (Guitar Center, JWPepper, Amazon).
GAME TICKETS
Participants would still need to purchase game day tickets. Additional festivities include The Titan Thunder March at 12:15 p.m., pre-game performance at 1:15 p.m. and kickoff  at 1:35 p.m. Parking options and other logistics will be provided later to registrants.
