Re-Test Required - Office Support Exam

RE-TEST REQUIRED for those that have taken the office supoprt exam within the last year

The OSER Division of Merit Recruitment & Selection announced that the first administration of the NEW Office Support exam will be on August 10, 2013.

 

  • The Office Support exam will not be administered in July 2013 (all other requested titles will be administered as planned).
  • All applicants who have taken the Office Support exam in the last year must RE-TEST beginning in August 2013. Even if you have taken the exam as recently as June 2013, you must RE-TEST to continue to be considered for Office Support positions.
  • All previous exam scores will expire upon creation of the new Office Support exam register which is anticipated to be available for use in September.
  • The first administration of the new Office Support exam will be August 10, 2013, continuing with monthly administration at exam centers around the state.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience re-testing may cause, but it is absolutely necessary if you wish to be considered for future Office Support vacancies after the new register is created in September. Your new score will be valid for six months; when your score gets close to expiration, you can extend your score for another six months (this process is called “re-use”).
