Teaching Principles of Advertising; Advertising Copy, Layout and Production; Strategic campaigns in Advertising; Advertising Media; Research in Strategic Communication; and advising majors.
Preference given to candidates with doctorate in a communications area or relevant field. Consideration given to those with master's degree in area of design, such as an MFA.
Professional experience in strategy, creative development and execution of strategic communication, particularly related to advertising, desired. Ability to teach outside advertising sequences, including courses such as Introduction to Journalism and Mass Communication and Visual Media Design, and to participate in development of new courses using interactive technology highly desirable.
