Honors Graduation Ceremony
Honors students who successfully complete The Honors College’s curriculum are recognized at the Honors Graduation Ceremony, which is held each December* and May,* and it is always scheduled on the Friday preceding Commencement at 5:30PM. It is at this event that Honors College Associates and Honors College Graduates receive their awards.
The ceremony is a longtime Honors tradition whereby Honors Students celebrate their accomplishments with family, friends, faculty, staff, and alumni—and with their Honors peers.
*See the dates below.
Honors College Associates (students who complete their Honors requirements with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 to 3.49) receive Certificates of Recognition.
Honors College Graduates (students who complete their Honors requirements with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher) receive Honors Medallions.
