Honors Abroad
Culture Connection Abroad
The Honors College offers one of its core requirements, HNRS 275Q: Culture Connection, as a three-week study abroad program that is offered over interim each January and May. HNRS 275Q: Culture Connection Abroad offers Honors students the exciting opportunity to engage deeply with the arts in locations such as Edinburgh, London, and Paris, where they experience some of the best theater productions, dance performances, music, and museums that the world has to offer. At the same time, students expand their development as writers by preparing and workshopping a series of papers about the events they attend. This program, which in 2024 will celebrate its tenth year, provides Honors students a fantastic and memorable way to improve their writing and to build on their cultural experiences in cities famous for the arts.
