Department of History at UW Oshkosh

The opportunities are limitless with the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Department of History. UWO history graduates go on to become researchers, archivists, editors, teachers, congressional aides, lawyers, pursue graduate degrees and more.

As a history major or minor, students at UWO gain a better understanding of current political, cultural and economic issues through a foundation in history. Students learn how to think critically, examine complex problems and develop writing skills.
