Student Health and Wellness Update – March 2026
We’re here to support your physical and mental wellbeing. Here’s a look at upcoming events, wellness tips and campus resources available this month.
Wellness Tip of the Month
Self-Compassion and Perfectionism
Perfectionism can feel like a strength, but it often leads to stress, burnout and harsh self-criticism. Self-compassion means treating yourself with kindness and recognizing that imperfection is part of being human.
Quick Tips
- Notice your inner critic and reframe with kindness
- Aim for progress, not perfection
- Celebrate effort, not just results
- Pause and breathe when stress hits
Wellness Challenge
This month we’re encouraging Titans to hit 7,000 steps a day. Walk to class, explore campus or take a stroll with friends – every step counts!
After completing your goal, stop by the Student Health Center and show your step counter to enter a raffle for a prize. Three winners will be drawn at the end of the month.
Try this affirmation:
“I am doing my best. It’s OK to be imperfect. I am worthy of kindness.”
