Vision: The College of Nursing will build upon its tradition of developing caring and scholarly nurse leaders who positively impact contemporary and future health care.

The purpose of the graduate program is to prepare professional nurses for the MSN and DNP degrees. MSN emphases include the Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Leader. The BSN to DNP Program prepares Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) with a primary care focus. The MSN to DNP Program prepares advanced practice nurses and advanced nurse administrators for a practice role with a more comprehensive focus on population health, leadership, evidence based practice, and technology. The MSN to DNP with FNP prepares nurses who have master's degrees in another area of nursing to become FNPs.  There are also post-MSN Clinical Nurse Leader and Nurse Educator Certificate Programs and a post-baccalaureate Healthcare Informatics Certificate Program.
