This page provides details about the required application materials for each UWO graduate program. Click on your program for information about the required materials and how to submit them. When all required materials are received, your application is reviewed for admission and the decision is shared with you via email.

Applied Biotechnology, MS

Master of Science in Applied Biotechnology Management applications include these materials:

  • Application to UW–Oshkosh’s Graduate School
  • Application fee
    • You can pay the application fee when you submit your application.
    • If you choose to pay the app fee after you submit the application: log in to the application portal, select the application you submitted, and pay the fee in the app portal.
  • Transcript(s) showing your undergraduate degree and courses
    • If your degree is from a U.S. college/university:
      • We need an official, degree conferral transcript for your undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree.
      • Official means the transcript is sent directly from the institution to UW–Oshkosh Graduate School. Electronic transcripts are preferred.
      • Degree-conferral means the transcript shows the name of the degree earned and the date it was awarded.

    • Write a personal statement of of 1-2 pages describing your goals and qualifications for the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program.

    • Write a personal statement of up to 500 words explaining:
      • Why you are interested in pursuing a masters in Biology/Microbiology at UW–Oshkosh
      • Students in our program are required to conduct independent research in a faculty member’s laboratory. Faculty members have research interests spanning all levels of organization, from genes to ecosystems. Please describe your research interests and identify at least two faculty members with whom you would be most interested working.
