- Must have and maintain a semester and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better
- Must not be on residence hall probation
- Must be a current student in good standing at an accredited post-secondary institution

Desk Receptionist
The Desk Receptionist staff will serve as the main point of contact for guests to the Gruenhagen Conference Center. This includes providing general customer services, answering phones, making reservations, checking guests in for lodging, and other clerical work.
Building Operations
The Building Operations staff will work with the area supervisor to meet the needs of our conference and lodging guests by preparing meeting space, doing light maintenance and performing housekeeping responsibilities for Residence Life Conference Services. This includes table and chair placement, audio visual (AV) needs, overall presentation of meeting rooms, painting, repair of maintenance issues, and cleaning and setting of lodging rooms.
Manager on Duty
The Manager on Duty (MOD) plays a vital role in the overall success of Residence Life Conference Services and is the individual whom, after normal business hours, assumes complete responsibility for the Gruenhagen Conference Center facility. The MOD is a live-in student staff position that reports to a Conference Coordinator. MODs are responsible for assisting in the safety and security of the building, responding to guest needs, and participating in a rotational duty program. With the resources and training the MOD receives, they should feel confident and comfortable with the duty tasks. The safety and security of the guest is to be paramount to the MOD, in addition to providing the high-quality customer service Conference Services is known for.
Student Assistant Desk Manager
The Student Assistant Desk Manager position will assist the Front Desk Manager/Financial Specialist, University Conference Coordination staff and Directors of Residence Life Conference Services in the overall deployment and execution of our Conference Services program, as well as assisting in the management of front desk services and financial processes within Gruenhagen Conference Center.
EAA/OPE Reservations Manager
The EAA/OPE Reservations Manager is responsible for the successful management of guests’ reservations at the Gruenhagen Conference Center during the annual Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture convention & the Oshkosh Placement Exchange (OPE). During EAA AirVenture the Guest Reservations Center is open 24-hours. OPE is not a 24-hour conference, but will need coverage potentially between 7am and midnight over the course of 4 days. This position is for the full calendar year, including academic breaks.
Assistant EAA Desk Manager
The Assistant EAA Desk Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the desks at 10 residence halls and the Gruenhagen Conference Center during the annual Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture convention. During the week-long event the hall desks are open 24-hours. To be successful, the Assistant Desk Manager must be able to work independently, have excellent written and communication skills, organized and very detail oriented. This position is summer only.
