Short-Term Loans
Short-term loans are designed to help UW Oshkosh students obtain immediate, emergency or short-term funds directly through the Financial Aid Office.
Tetzlaff Loan
The Tetzlaff Loan is a short-term loan with the maximum limit of $500. The loan has a $5 application fee and must be repaid within the same semester it is disbursed. The students must be currently enrolled at UW Oshkosh to be eligible.
Students whose applications are approved by the Financial Aid Office will be notified via email of when their check will be ready for pick up. Disbursed loans are placed as a charge on the student’s account, which accrues a 1% interest per month on ALL unpaid balances, including this loan.
Applications for the Tetzlaff Loan are available in the Financial Aid Office. The loan repayment deadline will be determined by the University upon disbursement.
Short-term Loan
Students currently enrolled at the University may obtain an emergency, interest-free loan for up to $50. The loan must be repaid within 30 days. Students may apply for a short-term loan in the Financial Aid Office only during an academic semester in which they are enrolled.
