Payroll Accounting Adjustments
Payroll adjustment is a correction made to an employee’s payroll record when compensation was inaccurately charged, missed, or allocated to the wrong work tags. Payroll adjustments ensure that salary, wages, and related expenses are recorded in the correct cost center, program, grant, or other funding sources.
Payroll accounting adjustments can be completed by each unit’s Unit Business Officer. Please work with your UBO if a transfer is needed.
