Professional Career:

I started at UW Oshkosh in September 1966 and officially retired in January 2002. However, I still have an office/lab in the department and have kept busy with various projects including:

  • curating the insect collection,

  • taught the entomology class twice (Fall 2007 and Spring 2010),

  • continuing cooperative research project with WDNR studying the population density of the lake fly larvae in Lake Winnebago and the feeding preferences of the lake sturgeon by analyzing gut contents of the sturgeon taken during the spearing season.

Basically, I come to campus when I want, do what I want and go home when I want. What more could I ask for?
