The goal of ergonomics is to create an environment that is well-suited to an employee’s physical needs. UW-Oshkosh strives to provide a work environment that minimizes potential musculoskeletal injuries and cumulative trauma disorders, reduces workers’ compensation expenses, increases productivity, and ensures a safer work environment.
