August 2026 is Environmental Health and Safety Month at UWO!

Safety is apart of all aspects of our lives. This month is an opportunity to learn, share resources, and engage with our colleagues from all different parts of campus.

We have an event almost every day. Read more about the sessions below. Please register at the link beneath each session if you would like to participate in that specific session. Location and other logistic information for your session will be emailed to you at a later date. For more information, please contact Danielle Juan at juand@uwosh.edu.

A note from your EHS Specialist

I want to say THANK YOU to all our facilitators for volunteering their time to help with our first ever Environmental Health and Safety Month. This endeavor would not have been possible without the kindness and compassion of our colleagues. I’m so excited to be able to offer free sessions for employees, and I feel proud to show off my rockstar colleagues in all these safety roles.

Any feedback appreciated

We are excited to offer this free series of events for the first time and we hope to continue to do so in future years. Please let us know if there are any sessions you would like to see, any you would like to volunteer yourself to provide, or any general comments about how we can make this better for all employees. You can provide anonymous feedback here

Check out pictures from last year’s session!
