How do I register my personal device as a clicker?

Turning Technologies Student Response System (clicker) allows students to use smart phones or other mobile devices as a clicker. If you are using this option, information on setting up your account is available here.

Written Instructions

 Step 1: Get the App

Step 2: Create an Account with TurningTechnologies

  1. Login to your D2L Course Site
  2. Click the link available for Registering your Device
    D2L Widget - Register Here
  3. You will be taken to the TurningTechnologies Account creation page.  Your email address will already be entered.  Click the Create An Account link.
  4. Check your email and click the link provided in the confirmation message.
  5. When Prompted, select the Role of Participant.
  6. Complete subsequent fields with relevant information.  Make sure to use your UW Oshkosh email address. Click Next
  7. Create a password. Click Next
  8. If you purchased a license code from the bookstore, enter it in the space provided and click Redeem.
  9. If you have not purchased a code from the bookstore, you may purchase one using the online store.  (School Code is Osh14).  

Step 3: Login to Responsware

  1. When you are ready to use the Responsware App, simply login with the username and password you created.
