How do I create an Attendance Scheme?

Creating an Attendance Scheme is the first step in using the Attendance Tool. The scheme identifies the criteria on which the Attendance tool will be used.

Written Instructions

  1. Click Edit Course 
  2. Click Attendance
  3. Click the Attendance Schemes link at the top of the page.
  4. Click the New Scheme button.
  5. In the Name field, add an identifying title to your new Scheme
  6. Complete the remaining fields as necessary.
    • Symbol: an abbreviation of the status.  The symbol will appear in the dropdown selector.  (Example: P)
    • Status Full Name: The full name for the attendance status (Example: Present)
    • Assigned %: The percentage that will be awarded for the status. (Example: 100)
    • Order: The order in which they should appear in the dropdown selector.
  7. Click Save.
