FAQ for Emergencies: What to do if D2L crashes

D2L is now a main method for communication on campus. In the event of an outage, here are some alternative methods to main functions of D2L.


Communication with students is critical during these situations.  Please be aware that an email feature is available in your TitanWeb class roster.


In the event of a D2L outage, a folder in Google Drive can be a substitute for content.  Add your materials to the folder in Google Drive and then share that folder with your students.  Here are some knowledgebase pages that may help guide you through the process.

Course Videos

Any videos that have been recorded through Camtasia Relay lecture capture or added to the MyMedia option in D2L can be accessed through our MyMedia page.  For detailed instructions on how to share your videos, please view this tutorial video.
