How do I leave feedback on dropbox submissions?

Instructors are able to view submissions and provide feedback on assignments submitted to the dropbox.

Written Instructions

  1. Click Dropbox from the navigation bar.
  2. Click the title of the dropbox you would like to review.
  3. A list of students and their submissions will be listed.
  4. Click the Grade and Leave Feedback on the right side of the screen under the submission date.
    A list of the student's submissions will be available on the left side of the screen.grade and leave feedback
    • Click the arrow next to the document title and select "View Document" to view the submission directly in D2L.

    • Click the submission title to download the submission in its original form (MS Word, Excel, etc).
  5. Leave desired feedback in the text editor panel on the right side of the screen.evaluation text editor
    • If you attached a rubric to the dropbox, it can be completed by clicking the rubric icon.
    • If you assigned a grade item to the dropbox folder, enter a value in the Score out of field. 
    • Provide comments and suggestions in the General feedback field.
    • Attach a File or Record Audio feedback.
  6. Click Save Draft if you are not finished grading/leaving feedback, Finish (acts as a normal Save button), or Publish to save and post your feedback for the student to view.
