Message from the Executive Director

Greetings,

Welcome to the Center for Student Success and Belonging (CSSB), where we strive to ensure that everyone matters.

Inclusive Excellence is a planning process intended to help each of the Universities of Wisconsin institutions establish a comprehensive and well-coordinated set of systemic actions that foster greater diversity, equity, inclusion, and accountability at every level of university life. The central premise of Inclusive Excellence holds that the Universities of Wisconsin must intentionally integrate their diversity and inclusion efforts into the core aspects of their institutions—such as their academic priorities, leadership, quality improvement initiatives, decision-making, day-to-day operations, and organizational cultures—to maximize their success.

At the Center for Student Success and Belonging, our mission is to create a robust campus infrastructure for Inclusive Excellence, which will serve as a catalyst for transforming how diversity is advanced, achieved, and experienced at UW Oshkosh.

We invite you to visit Dempsey Hall 302 & 308 for our TRIO Student Support Services and The Hub in Reeve Memorial Union, 104, to build community and get student advocacy support. We hope you will take advantage of our departments’ many programs and services.
