About Us

The Center for Student Success and Belonging (CSSB) is here to help the University provide an embracing, welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for students, faculty, staff, and community members.
CSSB provides academic and student support services to assist in the recruitment, enrollment, retention, and graduation of historically marginalized and eligible first-generation, low-income students.
The offices comprising CSSB offer distinct cultural, educational, social, and recreational activities, with specialized services to enhance students’ academic and personal development and facilitate their adjustment to the campus environment.
CSSB offers various programs and services, including academic advising, cultural counseling, forums/seminars/workshops, mentoring, cultural programs and events, and referrals to other on- or off-campus departments and organizations.
We encourage all students to engage in and take advantage of our many programs and services.
