Online Program

The Criminal Justice program offers a Criminal Justice degree online.

The Focus and Design of the Online CJ Major

Starting in Spring 2025, all criminal justice course offerings will be offered in both an online and in-person format on a rotational basis. Any student enrolled as a criminal justice major will be able to complete the program fully online, fully in-person, or by using a blended approach of both online and in-person classes.

The online Criminal Justice courses are designed for traditional and non-traditional students who cannot pursue the on-campus CJ major due to time constraints, geographic constraints, employment obligations, etc. The online criminal justice courses may be appropriate for students who wish to pursue a baccalaureate education that emphasizes: writing and critical thinking skills, theoretical understanding of crime and the criminal justice system’s response to crime, data analysis, policy formulation, and policy analysis, and the legal, ethical, administrative, and behavioral aspects of the criminal justice system and its various parts.
