Clinical Training Opportunities

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Counseling Center offers training to graduate students in master’s-level counseling, social work, and psychology programs. We currently offer the following generalist position:

-Practicum/Internship: These are typically for students entering their final clinical placements. These positions are often 2 semesters with a total hour requirement around 300 per semester. Students are typically here 20-24 hours per week and will receive at least 1 hour of individual supervision during that time. 

Please Note:

1. We do not offer summer placements.

2. The number of available positions varies each semester due to supervisor availability.

The major concentrations emphasized throughout the clinical placement are:

• Individual therapy
• Group therapy
• Wellness-based services
• Positive psychology focus

• AODA psychoeducation
• Career counseling
• Multicultural awareness
• Outreach
• Crisis/Triage services
