Christopher Jones

Chris Jones is an associate professor and accounting department chair. He originally came to UW Oshkosh in 2012 and primarily teaches the tax courses. His research also is in the area of taxation and focuses both on taxpayer compliance and practitioner-based articles. He very much enjoys working at UWO, his wonderful colleagues and living in the Fox Valley. He is married to an accounting professor—which leads to fascinating dinner conversations—and has one son. He is originally from Muscatine, Iowa and is a die-hard Bears fan (who mostly dies hard every year).
