Eta Pi | Membership
College of Nursing faculty and instructors, as well as nursing professionals of the Fox Valley can contact the Eta Pi chapter for detailed information about how to join. Eta Pi members have access to countless benefits including eligibility to apply for research grant scholarships.
Eligibility for prospective members
Undergraduate Nursing Students
- Must be in Junior II semester of the Traditional BSN program at UW Oshkosh or halfway through the Accel program
- Must maintain academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must meet all expectations of academic integrity
ADN or Diploma Students
- Must have completed 12 credit hours at current school
- Must have completed half of the nursing curriculum
- Must maintain academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must meet all expectations of academic integrity
Graduate Students
- Must have completed one-quarter of graduate nursing curriculum
- Must maintain academic excellence with a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Must meet all expectations of academic integrity
Registered Nurse Professionals
- Must be legally recognized and currently certified to practice nursing
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field
- Must demonstrate high achievement in nursing profession
Application Process
- An email is sent out every spring semester to UW Oshkosh students who have reached eligibility status in the BSN curriculum.
- If you are not a UW Oshkosh student and wish to receive application information, contact etapi-stti@uwosh.edu.
- Detailed instructions will be provided for assembling and submitting Eta Pi Chapter application materials.
- Following an evaluation of the submitted materials, eligible members will be notified by the chapter regarding their acceptance.
- New members are invited to participate in an induction ceremony held in April each year.
