DEAN’S NOTE

Hi everyone! I’m looking for two individuals to serve as marshals at December Commencement and to lead the student processional, one from the Fox Cities campus and one from the Oshkosh campus. Please let me know if you would be willing to serve.

IN THE NEWS

The Whitburn Center for Governance and Policy Research has moved to a new location. Their new office is Sage Hall 4610. They will host an open house on Wednesday, October 9, 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Coffee and donuts will be provided as supplies last.

FACULTY RESEARCH

• Kevin Biese (Kinesiology) was awarded a $6,000 grant through the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association for a project titled “Exploration of Changes in External Training Load and Wellbeing Between Different Levels of Sport Specialization in Girls Volleyball.”

• A “Career Pathways in Public Affairs, Law, Politics, and Industry” panel will be held Tuesday, October 15, 5:00-7:00 pm in Sage 2212. Please share with your students who might be interested.
