Undergraduate Certificate

The nine-credit HSL certificate is a perfect complement to any bachelor’s program. Develop a broader understanding of diversity, and refine the interpersonal skills needed to meet your personal and professional goals.

Students must take this course:

  • Human Sv 111, Exploring Human Services – 3 credits

And any two of the following HSL elective courses:

  • Hum Sv 353 Domestic Violence, 3 credits
  • Hum Sv 375 Current Issues in Human Services, 3 credits
  • Hum Sv 376 Conflict Resolution, 3 credits
  • Hum Sv 378 Refugees, Migration and Human Services, 3 credits
  • Hum Sv 379 Crisis Intervention, 3 credits
  • Hum Sv 386 Psychology of Drug Use, 3 credits
  • Hum Sv 391 Trauma Informed Care, 3 credits
