Master’s Degree (MSE)

The Professional Counseling Department offers two counseling tracks and unique program-specific service learning opportunities.

Students in the program experience a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes experiential, hands-on learning supported by supervision and mentoring. Course curriculum and clinical requirements are updated continually to meet the demands of the counseling profession. As students matriculate through the program, Chi Sigma Iota members pair up with students, offering mentoring and support as they proceed through the program. UW Oshkosh also utilizes a cohort model, so students move through the program as a group. The faculty are also active advisors and supporters of our students.

Contact any of the program faculty to set up a time to meet and learn more about the department or the professional counseling program. We look forward to meeting you and working with you in the future.

Any additional questions can be directed to the admission co-chairs Amney Harper or Charles Lindsey
