Insurance & Financial Planning

Open to all majors.

The Northeast Wisconsin (NEW) Insurance Program develops students for careers in risk management and insurance.  Coursework focuses on insurance, risk management and financial planning. This is a professional development program to prepare students for careers in the insurance industry.

Required Units (crs.): 21 minimum  (see Minor Planning Sheet for course prerequisites)

Business: FINANCE 340, FINANCE 351, FINANCE 440*, FINANCE 441*

Electives (9 credits): FINANCE 333, FINANCE 334, MHR 373, ACCT 403, ACCT 404, MARKET 463, ECON 368

* FINANCE 440 and 437 cannot count for both the Finance Major and the Insurance Minor.
