Outstanding Alumni


Valerie Nevitt Pfeiffer

 

Valerie Nevitt Pfeiffer graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business Administration with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in economics in 1984. She was selected as the outstanding alumna by the College in 1994 and has served on its Advisory Board since 1992.

She has been the vice president of marketing and business development at CitizensFirst Credit Union in Oshkosh since 1999. Her previous positions include public relations and marketing for Affinity Health System in Menasha and commercial lending and branch management for Valley Banks in Appleton and Neenah.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is active in Oshkosh Rotary, the Christine Ann Center, Oshkosh United Way, TEMPO Fox Valley and the Twin Cities Catholic Education System. She plays oboe in the contemporary choir at St. Margaret Mary church in Neenah. She received the Athena Award for the outstanding business woman from the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce in 1991.

She lives in Neenah with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, skiing, biking and teaching indoor group cycling at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA.
