Outstanding Alumni
Thomas Guyette
Thomas Guyette earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1968 from the University Wisconsin Oshkosh. He was honored as the outstanding alumnus in 2008. Guyette has served as a financial adviser, manager and partner with Merrill Lynch for thirty-four years. He managed the Merrill Lynch office in Green Bay for nearly twenty years, and grew the office to twenty-five individuals while fostering a culture of excellence and integrity. Guyette with his son, Brannon, have been partners in the Guyette Financial Group for nine years.
Besides his passion for business, Guyette is also driven by a desire to volunteer his time and talents to his community. He has served as president to the Neville Public Museum, and Treasurer of both the Notre Dame Academy Board of Education and the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. He has been a member and past president of the Downtown Rotary Club of Green Bay. He serves on the finance committee of Old St. Joseph’s Church in De Pere. He received the Merrill Lynch Lifetime Community Achievement Award in 2002. The past several years, Guyette has served as Chairman to the local Merrill Lynch Grand Gala which has raised over $600,000 the past six years for various charities and organizations within the Green Bay community.
