Roger D. Cross
Roger D. Cross earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business in 1982. He was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and named outstanding alumnus of the College in 2000.
As administrator for the Wisconsin Division of Motor Vehicles, he introduced programs to improve efficiency and customer service. He served on advising committees of the U.S. House and Senate on identification security. He served two terms as examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and was a leader in developing the Wisconsin Forward Award for Quality. Prior to government service, he was a naval officer in the nuclear submarine program, an executive with American National Bank and Trust Co. of Chicago and product manager for Reuters financial trading systems worldwide. He is fundraising chair for the Waupaca Area Boy Scouts of America and chair of the Waupaca County Republican Party. For 30 years, he has served as a state certified boating safety instructor. He lives with his wife, Linda, on Waupaca’s Chain O’ Lakes and is a partner in Chain O’ Lakes Marine.
