WiSys held their annual Spark Symposium for the UW System on July 23-25, 2025 at UW Stout.

Vianna Dao and Austin Bunkelman worked with Dr. Kedrowski on “Synthesis of short chain oligomers of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) for use in biodegradation studies”.

Dr. Crawford learned about Aedon Langkau‘s project in Dr. Mueller-Spitz’s lab, “Searching for extracellular amylase activity in the soil bacterium Mycolicibacterium species RJGII-135”.

Dylan Schommer worked with Dr. Mihalick on “Investigating effects of reaction conditions on nanocellulose-silica interactions in composite materials”.
