Leadership Council

Leadership Council is a UW Oshkosh group and meeting that, in 2024-25, brings together approximately 80 faculty, staff and students for seven meeting dates, typically scheduled the Mondays following Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents meetings.

The purpose of Leadership Council is two-fold: education and communication. The meetings are designed to engage UWO administrators, directors, supervisors and Shared Governance leaders in updates and discussion related to topics, initiatives, policy matters and other issues.

Leadership Council meetings return to in-person gatherings in the Reeve Union Theater, Room 307, in fall 2024. All Leadership Council members should attend in person.

The meetings will be livestreamed for any UWO faculty and staff to view; however, unlike Chancellor’s Town Halls, the livestreams will not be promoted and managed for questions and comments. You can find links for the 2024-25 academic year meetings below.

The meetings will lead off with valuable presentations to engage members in the room on any number of timely budget, human resources, information technology and policy topics that directly influence their, their direct reports’ and/or their constituents’ daily work and contributions.

We preserve a 1.5-hour block for Leadership Council. The agenda, staff reports and related discussions may not eat up that time. Any balance is useful for in-person, catch-up meetings and networking.
