This fall, I had the pleasure of talking with Insight On Business magazine about my journey, the value of education, and the future we are building at UW-Oshkosh.

As a first-generation college graduate, I believe in the power of education to transform lives. That is why I am committed to expanding access to education and making it more affordable. Together, we are turning that vision into reality. In just one year, the number of first-year students at UWO has increased by 2%, transfer enrollment is up 4%, graduate enrollment has risen 17%, and our retention has improved from 69% to 72%. 

There is nothing more inspiring than seeing the impact we make on people’s lives. I could not be more proud of the things we have achieved, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
